All the fields in this view are used to specify default values for the corresponding node attributes used when you create new nodes. The 窶廛istrib.窶 popup menu is used to select a default distribution.
The 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 checkbox is used to specify the default setting for this attribute. Note, however, that you reverse this setting if you hold down the 窶彜hift窶 key on the keyboard when you create a node. More specifically, this means the following:
CASE 1. 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 checked:
If you create a new node without pressing the shift key, the new node will be a 窶徭tochastic窶 node, i.e., its 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 attribute will be switched on.
If you create a new node while pressing the shift key, the new node will be a 窶彭eterministic窶 node, i.e., its 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 attribute will be switched off.
CASE 2. 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 unchecked:
If you create a new node without pressing the shift key, the new node will be a 窶彭eterministic窶 node, i.e., its 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 attribute will be switched off.
If you create a new node while pressing the shift key, the new node will be a 窶徭tochastic窶 node, i.e., its 窶廬ncl. stoch. val.窶 attribute will be switched on.
